New Product Releases Spring 2019
In celebration of our 50th anniversary we have created some new styles to offer our wonderful customers. The first of these - the Bacchus Fume 2016 - was released early last year after picking up gold medals at multiple awards.
We have now released the three more of our special wines, available from our cellar shop and online:
Purlai Red - Vibrant in both colour and flavour, our Purlai Red is a fine example of a fruit-driven cool climate red wine. Intense raspberry and candied fruit aromas shine through, complimented by bold flavours of wild cherry, blackcurrants and violet on the palate. Gentle exposure to oak staves during maturation gives a soft, silky but structured mouthfeel with a balanced finish.
White Hart - The very best cuvees of Schonburg and Chardonnay are blended post-ferment to bring a delightful dry wine which showcases the best of these aromatic varieties. Delicate jasmine aromas are complimented by bold flavours of pineapple and ripe stone fruit, leading to a soft citrus finish.
Chardonnay - Much-loved for its elegance and trademark melon and pear characters, our unoaked Chardonnay boasts aromas of stone fruits, baked apple and lemon. The palate will entice you with flavours of ripe nectarine leading to a characteristically crisp and mineral finish.
