Gold on Gold...
Success at the 2021 International Wines & Spirit Competition!
Our Purlai Gold has been awarded the IWSC Spirit Gold Medal, earning a rather golden 95 points from the judging panel. Why is our Purlai Gold so special? Here's what the judges say:
Enjoyably light, bright and fresh with a beautiful base wine that is lifted by honey, wild flowers and nuts. Vibrant on the palate with a clean citrus character that entwines with the delicate aromatics allowing a lovely long and enticing finish.
Produced from the oldest Bacchus vines in the UK, and blended with aromatic Schonburg, this delicious icewein-style digestif was aged for 15 months in custom Portugese chestnut barrels to add complexity and a rich mouthfeel.
Purlai Gold makes a great addition to the dinner table with a lovely English cheeseboard or fresh fruit salad.
Available via our online shop or directly from our Cellar Door.
https://bitcoincasinoplay.net is where my head went when I read about the 15 months in custom Portuguese chestnut barrels, because I had no idea chestnut was even a common choice for aging spirits. The judges' note about honey and wild flowers lifting a Bacchus base makes sense given how aromatic that grape can get in cooler English sites. I'd be curious whether the chestnut adds a tannic edge you don't get from oak.

Sometimes all you need is a quiet evening, a good cup of hot chocolate, and a little time for stargazing on clear nights. My friends often ask why I enjoy making playlists for different moods so much, and I always say it helps me stay motivated. In my opinion, gardening on the balcony deserves more attention because it brings so much energy into everyday life. After a busy day, nothing feels better than watching classic movies and just letting my mind wander viking runecraft demo
