Friday Tasting Sessions

Book in for a intimate tour and tasting with our Senior Management team. Perfect for individuals, couples and small groups.

This is very different experience from the free tours on our Open Estate Days. On the Friday Tasting Sessions you will have a access all areas tour within a intimate group of up to 16 people. We will give a unique look into 'our' style of winemaking where you will gain a fascinating insight into how commercial wine is made and get close to all the equipment. The Tour will finish with a tutored tasting in our NEW purpose built Tasting Room.

Our Session Tours at New Hall are very special as they are hosted by a selection of our Senior team which includes, Head Wine Maker Oliver, Vineyard Manager Andy, Commercial Manager Lucy and Cellar Door Manager Anna.

Friday Tasting Sessions are available seasonally on selected Friday's at either 11am or 2.30pm for a maximum of 16 people and will be for a duration of 2 hours.

Booking Dates detailed towards bottom of this page.

We don't offer food so please bring a picnic to enjoy in our purpose built indoor tasting room facing the vines, or if its a beautiful sunny day then sit out on our outdoor picnic tables.

Open Estate Days

We have the following Open Estate Days planned for 2025

Saturday 17th May

Saturday 21st June

Saturday 12th July

Our Open Estate Days are free events and there is no need to book tickets, just turn up on the day!

Children, Families and dogs on a lead are very welcome.

This year we will be joined by Paul Laurie, Market West, Squares and Circles Pizza and Grazeful Girls, and on 21st June we will be joined by a very special guest performance by Ashlea Lauren

-----------------------------------------------------

Every year we hold a limited number of Open Estate Days across the Summer and one in December. These Open Estate Days are a opportunity for you to visit and see what's involved in running a Essex vineyard.

Please note our Open Estate Days are open air events and will go ahead come rain or shine. So bring a blanket or umbrella (after all this is the English countryside!) and in the Summer you can sit among the vines while you enjoy local produce in a beautiful English Countryside setting.

Complimentary Winery tours are undercover in our state of the art Winery Building, Barrel Top Tastings are available within the Cellar Door shop. During our Summer events our pop up Bar and Food/Coffee providers will be set up in the Courtyard.

Self-Guided vineyard Trail

Our Self-Guided trail opens the Saturday of Easter weekend and will close mid-September when we start Harvest.

Once open you can visit anytime during our Cellar Door Opening Hours. Pop into the Cellar Door shop to pick up a free trail map.

----------------------------------------------------

Take some time out and relax while walking among the vines at New Hall Wine Estate.
The trail is approximately 1km long and takes you through some of the many varieties grown on the Estate.

Complete with a map, directional signs and some additional information about our rich history, the trail is perfect for a warm summer walk.

Keep an eye out for some of the extensive wildlife that inhabits the vineyard!

Please note: - The trail may be closed when tractor work is being undertaken on the vines - please phone ahead of your visit to check the trail is open to avoid any disappointment.

Please ensure you bring suitable footwear and clothing for the English Weather!
